My foot in

In any dictionary, you can find two very close expressions. On the one hand, “to put one’s foot in it”, which means “to boob”. And, on the other hand, “to put one’s foot down”, which means “to shock the one you are speaking to on purpose”. In these pages, I cannot remember what came under blunder or under intentional attack anymore. Unless the whole book escaped my control in the grip of emotion, anger, laugh, or wonder.

Enjoy your reading!
Michel SERRAULT

In this diary, many comments, thoughts, critical remarks, and applause too, ran wild across the paper while my not trying to censor them. Will you judge me with leniency? I do hope so, for I answer with sincerity and in a relative good faith to the everyday events –happy or unhappy, funny or unexpected- that meet my actor eyes and my Christian heart.
