A 10 Year Ambition
In its new report, the “Commission for the Liberation of French Growth” presents a ten-year strategy and 27 new proposals. It refers to two emergencies: debt reduction, to avoid loss of sovereignty, and employment, to end mass unemployment, especially among young people. It also identifies two long-term priorities: education and environment. To succeed in this strategy, it calls for a general mobilization.
“Let no one be mistaken: the situation of France is serious. Our country is still very rich, endowed with immense assets. But we must understand that we are threatened with decline, because of our debt, our unemployment and our inadequate preparation for the knowledge economy. We believe that the sustainable, and obstinate implementation of this project is one of the last resorts for this country to maintain its rank. Seize it. Together. ”
