Catherine Hermary-Vieille
Born in Paris in 1948, Catherine Hermary-Vieille divides her time between France and the United States, where she lives in the state of Virginia.
In 1981, her first novel The Grand Vizier of the Night won the Prix Fémina. A history lover, she alternates between biography and historical fiction with equal success and draws us into the secrets of the past. She is notably the author of La Marquise des Ombres and La Bourbonnaise.
